About Me
Welcome! My name is Jose and I was born and raised in Puerto Rico until I graduated from college and moved to Colorado. My first trip was to the Dominican Republic when I was 6 years old and to this day I still remember my experience with my family. Later in life I had the opportunity to be a national exchange student at the University of Utah during the Olympics in 2002. This experience introduced me to new challenges, experiences that marked my life in a positive way. I started going on road trips around the US, visiting different states, learning about the different cultural norms in the different areas I visited. After this I have felt the need to continue traveling, to continue expanding my knowledge of other cultures, other destinations; this is where my passion for traveling started.
Even after having a son, I continue to find ways to go to new places each year. Having little ones with you should not stop you from enjoying traveling. My son always talks about the new places he goes to, the new foods he tries and learns how other people live in other parts of the world.
Through this blog I will teach you what I have learned, help you conquer any fears of traveling and inspire you to go out there and explore the world.
